Book Bag Project

Twelve canvas bags, each containing two weeks of literacy teaching materials make their way around a cluster of five villages, carried by local teachers. Villagers take pride knowing the materials were printed and assembled using their own contributions to the reading clubs.

Curriculum Management Software

A tool to manage literacy materials in multiple language projects, tracking text, illustrations, and translations, with the ability to format and produce print-ready PDFs of books and reading helps.

Reading Clubs

After school clubs for children in grades 1-5 receive literacy classes in their local language, using locally-sourced reading curriculum that is relevant to their local context.

MLE Certificate Course

This course seeks to equip literacy practitioners in both practical skills and a solid theoretical foundation so as to improve their effectiveness in the implementation of literacy programs and advocacy in local contexts.
